Haiti needs help! “Tents, tents, tents! That’s the word we want to get out. We need tents,” said a relief worker to the New York Times. Estimates of 200,000 tents will be needed to house thousands of Haitians until permanent housing can be built. Tents will be needed before the March rains start and the hurricane season begins in June. The Bloomingdale Kids Care Club is holding a PLAY-A-THON to raise funds for SOS Children's Villages.
